It started with a best koozie-themed kickball party to which I had no “really cool” koozie. I searched all over the internet looking for the right one that was fun and useful. Most of the ones I found were cheap novelties or they didn't seem to be practical.

As I started to determine what kind I wanted, I quickly found that there wasn't anything like it. I wanted a holder that was attachable and functional. I wanted it to be easy to remove and reliable...like your favorite pair of underwear.

MAGNETS! I had some rare earth magnets that I stole from another project and put one in the belt and one into a holder. After a few trials and errors through the local bars, I found the right placement for the magnets and holder.

After testing several prototypes and spilling drinks, the Beering-Aid was born. It'll keep your drink cold and your hands-free!
